Toshka Project

This was a project for housing development in the southern region of Egypt called Toshka. It is a plan designed for wealthy Arab people, while trying to reduce the material use.

Primary Elements

Glasshouse village

Using the benefits of a glasshouse for housing complexes. In here an experimental approach to creating residential communities. A television company used this design for a special on TV

Evolving House

A cheap house for young proffesionals who might want extend their house in the future

Dune pavilion

A small pavilion at the Loonse en Drunense Duinen. This project got the highest grade of the atelier.

24 Hour Project

This was a contest in which you had to design a indutrial complex within 24 hours. I actually won both for the designs and for the visual presention:)

Museum for Archeology

This is a museum integrated with the city hall of Alphen aan de Rijn. The design is done with 3 architects, 1 contructional engineer, 1 building technician and 1 contructional manager.

Pavillion

This is a small pavillion I created during an evening of experimenting.

Tao Tuin

The Agniessenbuurt in Rotterdam is being enriched with a park completely based on the old Chinese TAO philosophy.

Strijp S

Strijp is an area in the centre of eindhven where Philips used to have a big industrial complex. Now the city wanted to transform it into a new urban area. This is my proposal.
